Sportsman's Park was the home field of both the St. Louis Browns and Cardinals located on the north side of the city. They shared Sportsman's Park for an astonishing 33 seasons. The site of the stadium was rich in baseball history due to the game being played there since the 1800's. In 1953, Sportsman's Park was renamed Busch Stadium. The Cardinals played there until 1966 and they then moved to the new Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis and Sportsman's Park was sadly demolished.
