Design Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke Ø480 Stainless Steel was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958. He was tasked with designing a pendant for Langelinie Pavillonen in Copenhagen, specifically to create something entirely glare-free. His genius solution was to distribute 72 leaves across 12 rows, creating a light that doesn’t glare no matter the angle. The pendant is now considered a design icon.
