Sporting a reconstructed translucent upper, featuring a semi-revealing material to tie-in with the theme. In celebration of his exhibit premiering at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in June 2019, Virgil Abloh teamed up with Nike once again to produce a Nike Air Force 1. The Off-White x Air Force 1 Low '07 'MCA' shoe features a University Blue leather upper and a Metallic Silver Swoosh with prominent stitching and a signature red tab. For a full circle-feel, the shoe reprises key design details from previous Off-White offerings, including the iconic zip tie and quoted branding.

The Off-White x Air Force 1 ‘Volt’ veers from the established orthodoxy of Virgil Abloh’s Nike design playbook, maximizing a neon hue from the Swoosh’s signature palette that the designer had previously left untouched. It coats the shoe’s mixed-material upper as well as its laces and midsole. Contrasting hits of black bring tonal variety to the Swoosh and medial-side quarter panel, which is printed with Virgil’s trademark text.
