Originally released in 1982, the Air Force 1 is named after the presidential aircraft. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, it was the first basketball shoe to feature revolutionary air pocket technology.

In 2022, 40 years since the Air Force 1 was introduced, a culmination of the rich history of the silhouette was realized with the introduction of the Louis Vuitton x Nike “Air Force 1” by Virgil Abloh. Released posthumously, Alboh’s work seamlessly connected the decades of prominence of Nike’s famed sneaker. In total, Virgil Abloh designed 47 bespoke pairs of the Nike “Air Force 1” for the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2022 show in collaboration with Nike.

This limited edition Air Force 1 was released in honor of the Chinese New Year in 2011, the Year of the Rabbit. Inspired by the popular Shanghai candy, White Rabbit, the sneaker borrows inspiration from the color palette of the sweets. The polished, sleek sneaker features shades of white on a premium leather upper, along with off-white suede paneling and toe box that sits atop a translucent white midsole.

The Nike women’s Dunk Low Next Nature ‘Panda’ gives the essential two-tone colorway a refreshed build incorporating at least 20% recycled content by weight. A contrasting pop of color appears on the sockliner, rendered in a neon green finish and accented with Nike’s pinwheel logo.
