In 2022, 40 years since the Air Force 1 was introduced, a culmination of the rich history of the silhouette was realized with the introduction of the Louis Vuitton x Nike “Air Force 1” by Virgil Abloh. Released posthumously, Alboh’s work seamlessly connected the decades of prominence of Nike’s famed sneaker. In total, Virgil Abloh designed 47 bespoke pairs of the Nike “Air Force 1” for the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2022 show in collaboration with Nike.

First previewed in Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show back in 2021, the Air Force 1 Low “White” by the popular fashion and sportswear brands, respectively, puts a premium spin on the vintage basketball shoe.

The Undefeated x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Pink Prime’ is taken from the AF1 Multi-Color Patent project, a collaborative series celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic silhouette. Taking cues from Undefeated’s Nike Dunk High NL from 2005, this pair features a paneled patent leather upper in a clashing mix of powder blue, brown, black and purple.
