The MA-1 has been worn by various armed forces and originally adapted by the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s. Army helicopter crews and is known as the Nylon Pilot’s Jacket. Designed in 100% nylon flight satin twill and boasting a bright orange reversible lining for survival purposes, pilots would turn the jacket inside out to make them visible to rescue crews.

Constructed from mid-weight flight nylon with water resistance, the MA-1 bomber jacket was the first military flight jacket to cross over into civilian fashion. This current version has been kept as close as possible to the classic military specifications.
