Varhaug satisfied

11.07.2010 Pål Varhaug finished tenth in the second race at Silverstone after a good race from fourteen on the grid. -The car was good, and I drove a good race. But it’s almost impossible to get into the points from fourteen on the grid. I generally think it is a bit to difficult to score points in GP3. Today I had a very good race and gained four positions, but don’t get a single point for that effort. Pål Varhaug finished tenth in front of American Josef Newgarden. Daniel Morad from Canada won the race in front of Alexander Rossi, USA and Mirko Bortolotti from Italy. Esteban Guttierez from Mexico leads the championship in front of Alexander Rossi and Pål’s teammate in Jenzer Motorsport Nico Müller. Pål Varhaug is tenth in the standings. 21 driver has scored points. -The level of the drivers in GP3 is so high so it’s very difficult to score points if you don’t qualify well. I had problems with my car in qualifying, so that’s why I didn’t score any points. But look at a driver as Michael Christensen. He was one of the favorites before the season and he hasn’t scored a single point. That tells a lot about the championship. The next race for Pål is in Hockenheim in Germany in two weeks. -I like Hockenheim a lot, ant the aim is again to score points.
