Pål Varhaug finished a great sixth in the second GP2 race at Imola today!
-I had a great start, and are very satisfied with my race and my laptimes. I’m not focusing on results in the GP2 Asia series at all, but this was a lot of fun. I’m here to learn, but to learn and finish sixth is just great, Pål Varhaug says.
Pål Varhaug started the race from 14th position at Imola, and finished in the points. Dani Clos won the race.
At first Pål was classified seventh, but then Romain Grosjean got a penalty, and Pål was moved up to sixth.
The next race for Pål now is the first race in the GP2 main series in Turkey May 7. Before that race Pål will do some tests.
