Busy holiday

03.01.2011 The holiday time was busy for Pål Varhaug, but now he’s in bed with the flu… -I’m a bit sick at the moment, so I have to take it easy. But I will soon be fit for fight again, Pål Varhaug said monday morning. This Christmas has benn busy for Pål Varhaug, and he got the perfect present when Norway’s third biggest newspaper, Dagbladet, had a big story over two pages about Pål at Christmas eve, with the title “Full speed towards Formula 1!”. Later Pål was ranked third among the athletes in his local area by the local newspaper Gjesdalbuen. The winner was the soccer player Birkir Bjarnasson in front of Ann Kristin Flatland, who competes in biathlon. Later Pål was interviewed by NRK Radio together with Indy Lights-driver Anders Krohn. Both Krohn and Varhaug are from Rogaland in Norway.
