2011 GP2 Asia Series Round 2 cancelled

Following the current events in Bahrain, at the request of the Bahrain Motorsport Federation, it has been decided that the remainder of the meeting which was supposed to take place this week at Bahrain International Circuit is cancelled due to force majeure.
Pål Varhaug will now travel back to Norway.
The next race in GP2 Asia is also scheduled to take place at Bahrain International Circuit March 12 and 13 together with Formula 1. It is still uncertain what happens to these races.
